Phill Niblock Forever: A Marathon Memorial Celebration in Music, Images, Words, Movements…

Really so grateful to be on this amazing roster!

I’ll did a 6 minute live-stream sound improv with prepared video. The video was shot leaving EI, Phill and Katherine’s loft, after hanging with Phill on Valentine’s Day 2023.

Those stairs hold magical properties in my imagination, as resonance, invocation and invitation to sensation in sound coming from Experimental Intermedia NYC. Also Phill’s cinema work is so stunning, and inspiring to me and my practice.

To my thinking in Phill’s cinema there is a rabid Photogénie, be it of different scales ++ expansions. It so takes me.
